Junky Palms - One hour of deep house, performed live on an Elektron Digitakt II.

One hour of live deep house, performed entirely on an Elektron Digitakt II — a birthday present I spent three months learning, sampling into, and slowly filling with eight tracks that fit together so naturally they became one continuous set. Pads, leads and sub bass came from an iPad running Waldorf Microwave, Waldorf Blofeld and Moog Model D, all sampled and sequenced into the Digitakt so the whole thing still runs from one box. No computer, no overdubs, no edits: a single take, with a multi FX unit on the master bus played live throughout to keep the textures moving.
